SM - The movie is about the life of Mods kids in 60's, it's really interesting to watch. Where the rivalry and love come together to show who is the best, and of course the scooters...wow. The movie called Quadrophenia It was directed by Franc Roddam in his feature directing début.
The film, set in 1964, follows the story of Jimmy Cooper (Phil Daniels), a London Mod. Disillusioned by his parents and a job as a post room boy in an advertising firm, Jimmy finds an outlet for his teenage angst with his Mod friends Dave (Mark Wingett), Chalky (Philip Davis) and Spider (Gary Shail). One of the Mods' rivals, the Rockers, is in fact Jimmy's childhood friend, Kevin (Ray Winstone). An assault by aggressive Rockers on Spider leads to a retaliation attack on Kevin. Jimmy participates in the assault, but when he realises the victim is Kevin, he doesn't help him, instead driving away on his scooter.
A bank holiday weekend provides the excuse for the rivalry between Mods and Rockers to come to a head, as they both descend upon the seaside town of Brighton. A series of running battles ensues. As the police close in on the rioters, Jimmy escapes down an alleyway with Steph (Leslie Ash) – a girl on whom he has a crush – and they have sex. When the pair emerge, they find themselves in the middle of the melee just as police are detaining rioters. Jimmy is arrested, detained with a violent, charismatic Mod he calls 'Ace Face' (Sting), and later fined the then-large sum of £50. When fined £75, Ace Face mocks the magistrate by offering to pay on the spot, to the amusement of fellow Mods.
Back in London, Jimmy becomes increasingly depressed. He is thrown out of his house by his mother, who finds his stash of amphetamine pills. He then quits his job, spends his severance package on more pills, and finds out that Steph has become the girlfriend of his friend Dave. After a brief fight with Dave, the following morning his rejection is confirmed by Steph and with his beloved Lambretta scooter accidentally destroyed, Jimmy takes a train back to Brighton. In an attempt to relive the recent excitement, he revisits the scenes of the riots and of his encounter with Steph. To his horror, Jimmy discovers that his idol, Ace Face, is in reality a lowly bellboy at a Brighton hotel. Jimmy steals Ace's scooter and heads out to Beachy Head, crashing the scooter over a cliff, which is where the film begins with Jimmy walking back from the cliff top in the sunset back drop.
It's very interesting or what?! you'll should watch this movie, :D
SM - This is one of those films that I've been waiting for in 2015. Avengers: Age of Ultron, which tells when Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and it is up to the Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans. By looking at such amazing trailer of this film has been ascertained penetrate list of box office, and make a film that should be seen in theaters. Oh yeah, Quicksilver & the Scarlet Witch they're so awesome :D
SM - This movie tells of a man named Ivanhoe “Ivan” Martin (Jimmy Cliff) who comes to town to become a famous reggae singer. But city life is not like he had imagined and more loudly than he’d thought. To get the record deals he only received 20 dollars for the studios. He also has had to be marijuana dealer to get more money.
When he kills a cop, he became the most wanted fugitive, and the fear in Jamaica. Hilton (Bob Charlton) who made a record producer Ivan did not waste the opportunity to play his song on radio stations and dance clubs. Ivan was more famous for his song to listen to everyone everywhere in the streets even though. He became a hero of the eye of fans.
SM - Documentary film directed by Daniel Schweizer is a film that reaped a lot of pros and cons among skinheads themselves. That is because this documentary not only shows the skinheads in the truest sense, but also show those racist / white power who thinks that they're real the skinhead, because if you're a racist, then you can not become skinheads. And that's the fact.
Daniel Schweizer in this documentary film shows the development of deliberately skinheads today. Both were skinheads or Bonehead (people who claim themselves skinhead but racist). So if you want to watch this movie, I suggest you at least know that skinheads had nothing to do with racism and racist organizations of any kind.
Here also show-skinheads skinheads from Europe, America, and Canada (unfortunately in this movie not included skinheads from asia ^ ^). A ska musicians such as Laurel Aiken take part in this film.
